Suilama is an independent explainer site about crypto wallet security — cold storage, seed-phrase handling, and how hardware wallets actually work — written for people who want to understand the mechanism before they trust it with their own crypto. This site is not affiliated with any wallet manufacturer, exchange, or crypto product it discusses, does not sell or endorse any specific hardware wallet brand, and does not have a product of its own.
Our approach
Every mechanism we describe — how a secure-element chip works, why a seed phrase is a single point of failure, what cold storage does and doesn’t protect against — is written from documented, publicly available information and cited industry sources, not assumptions. See our editorial guidelines for the full standard we hold content to.
What we don’t do
We don’t publish guaranteed-safety or “unhackable” claims, fabricated statistics, or invented company credentials. We don’t rank or endorse specific hardware wallet brands, since we have no independent basis to verify such a claim. This site exists to help you understand the mechanics before you decide anything.
